Embassy Homeschool empowers K-12 families to nurture lifelong learners. Our ministry provides consultation, education planning, parent workshops, state-approved oversight, and portfolio reviews to residents of Maryland. Whether you are a seasoned homeschooler or just beginning, we are committed to enhancing your homeschooling experience.
Who Are We:
Embassy Homeschool, an education ministry of FLOW Church, is your partner in the incredible homeschooling journey. You were your child's first teacher. You taught him to walk, talk, and play. You instructed them on how to interact with others. You encouraged them to try new adventures and celebrated their success. You've already laid the foundation for learning, and now, Embassy Homeschool is here to assist you with your home education goals. We are a faith-based, Christ-centered community that supports, guides, and celebrates the uniqueness of each homeschooling family.
What We Offer:
Our goal at Embassy Homeschool is to equip you with the tools you need for a successful homeschooling journey. We provide a wealth of resources such as annual goals templates, report cards, and scripture lists. After registration, every family receives a private "Getting Started Strategic Planning " meeting where we help you organize your home education program. Embassy Homeschool offers ongoing support throughout the school year with the following services:
· Quarterly Newsletters - Stay connected with our community through our quarterly newsletter. Delve into scripture, try out recipes, read educational articles, and discover seasonal home projects.
· Grown-Up (Parent & Guardian) Empowerment Workshops - Join our quarterly workshops to gain valuable skills and strategies for effective homeschooling. Topics include creating a homeschool day rhythm, lesson planning, creating structure and rhythm, socialization, mental health, and more.
· Maryland State Oversight & Portfolio Reviews – In Maryland, every homeschooling family must enroll in either a public or private state-approved oversight program. Embassy Homeschool is an approved private oversight program and our knowledgeable staff will supervise your program, including two portfolio reviews and two consultations per school year.
· Academic Planning - Craft a personalized academic plan for your student(s) with confidence by using our sample academic objective form and other resources.
· Bible Study - Explore Bible Study and Chapel Videos from the FLOW Church Library. Foster a spiritual foundation for your family's homeschooling journey.
· Student ID Cards - Enjoy exclusive benefits with our Student & Teacher (parent/guardian) ID Cards, usable wherever student and teacher IDs are accepted
